Global Development Institute (GDI) Undergraduate Awards 

We have ten GDI Undergraduate Awards available for September 2024 entry. Offer holders on our BSC Global Development course with predicted grades of AAB or above (or equivalent) can apply for this award to receive £3,000 in three instalments during their first year of the degree.

The successful candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic performance and the submission of a 500-word statement outlining their motivation for studying their subject.

Applications for the awards are now open and can be made via a separate online application form here. The application deadline is Friday, 26 April 2024 and the Admissions Team will be in touch by the end of June 2024 to let you know if you have been successful.

Global Futures Scholarship 

This scholarship is open to both undergraduate and master's students holding an offer from The University of Manchester for a course that will commence in September 2024. Evaluation will be based on academic merit and the quality of your scholarship application.

To be eligible for a Global Futures Scholarship, you must be living in one of the eligible countries and be self-funded.
